Deanna Hitchcock, F.H. Alexander’s project superintendent, notes, “We demolished two stores and followed Forever 21’s plans. There was a lot of finish work, and we had to be very accurate. The biggest challenge was working on a tight ten-week schedule in an occupied mall. We often worked after hours to minimize the impact on other tenants.“

Ed Knutt of EAK & Associates, a national construction consulting and project management company for retail clients, notes, “First time builders on our stores always have challenges interpreting prints; we expect a learning curve.
